Privacy policy
Some Darkmoon Hollow Development Stats projects (made by Darkmoon Hollow Development) can send anonymous usage stats to this site. Players choose this the first time the game starts, and can change it at any time. Server owners can turn it off in the project's config file.
Projects that send stats
- EclipseGate: turn it off in EclipseGate menu › Usage Stats, or
config/eclipsegate-stats.properties
What is collected
- Usage stats, once per game start: a random install ID made by the project (not linked to you, your account or your computer), the project, Minecraft, mod loader and Java versions, whether it is a client or a server, and the operating system family (Windows, Mac or Linux).
- Crash reports, only for crashes caused by the project's own code: the crash description, the error and its stack trace. Your user name and folder paths are removed on your computer before anything is sent.
What is never collected
Your name, Minecraft account, IP address, worlds, chat, server addresses, other mods' data, or anything else about you. The stats code does not read or store IP addresses. (Like almost every website, the web host keeps its own short-term server access logs, which include the address of every visitor; those are not part of the stats and are not used for them.)
How it is used and kept
Only to see which versions people play on and to fix crashes. It is never sold or shared outside the team: crash reports and daily totals are also posted to the developers' private staff channel on Discord (never install IDs). Daily activity is deleted after 400 days. Totals (never crash details or install IDs) are shown publicly on this site. Download numbers shown here come from CurseForge and Modrinth's public pages.
Questions or removal
Turning stats off stops anything more being sent. To have an install ID removed, contact Darkmoon Hollow
Development with the id from the project's stats config file.
